Transportation FP7 Information Day - 16 February 2007 Budapest
A Transportation FP7 Information day was held in Budapest at the National Office of Research and Development.
The Aeronautics section of FP7 Framework Program was introduced in detail by Dr. Andras Siegler. HAIF Chairman Mr. Mihaly Hideg introduced the Hungarian Aeronautical research capabilities and proposed priorities.

Aircraft Interiors Expo 2007 - 17-19 of April 2007 Hamburg
Aircraft Interiors Expo is the world's largest exhibition exclusively concerned with airline interior design and airline cabin systems engineering. Every conceivable product type for interiors will be on show from seating and fabrics through to in-flight entertainment and communications technologies, galley systems and food service equipment, lavatories, lighting, laminates, floor coverings, refurbishment and cabin maintenance products, safety equipment and more. The 2006 show covered eight exhibition halls, some 35,000m2 of space (over 320,000ft2) and included over 500 exhibitors including Airbus and Boeing.

New Member States Workshop - Brussels, 22 May 2007
On May 22nd a new Member State Workshop was held in Brussels with the title:Integrating European Research Capabilities in Aeronautics.

The main objective was to assess and learn from different approaches in Europe - in particular in the new Member States. There were 50+ participants in the workshop including the representatives of the large aerospace firms and institutions: Airbus, EADS, Safran, Onera, Alenia, Thales, Finmeccanica and Bombardier.
Hungary was represented by Mrs. Katalin Jaray NKTH, Mr. Mihaly Hideg HAIF and Mr. Roland Guraly HARP.

Investment and outsourcing seminar - Prague, 24 May 2007
An investment and outsourcing seminar was held in Prague organized by the Hungarian Embassy and ITD Hungary on 24th of May for the Aerospace, automotive and electronics industry. Presentations were held by Czech and Hungarian officials including HAIF Chairman Mr. Mihaly Hideg.

A Boeing regional conference was held on the 1st and 2nd of October in Krakow.

The aim of ‘Opportunities of Cooperation with The Boeing Company’ conference was to create a forum to address current cooperation between The Boeing Company and its partners and suppliers in the Central & Eastern European Region and explore future opportunities in the industrial and research fields. Hungary was represented by Mr. Mihaly Hideg (HAIF) and Mrs. Agnes Henter (ITDH).

Boeing Research Workshop, 4 October 2007 Budapest
By the invitation of HAIF and HARP a Boeing delegation visited Hungary on the 3^rd and 4^th of October to explore local aerospace research capabilities and find potential areas of collaboration.

Mr. Peter L. Hoffmann Director Global R/D Strategy and Mrs. Geraldine W. Spear Program Manager met Mr. Tivadar Lippényi at NKTH.
During the two day programme Boeing representatives visited KFKI and BUTE and listened to more than 20 presentations from KFKI departments, BUTE departments, ITD Hungary and selected HARP members.
