| Airport Development Workshop - 29th of March 2006 Budapest HAIF and Budapest University of Technology and Economics organized a one-day workshop on the further development of the Hungarian small and regional airports. The workshop addressed legal, technical, financial and business aspects of the small airport development. Case studies were presented by developers and owners to help the industry in using the best practice of other projects. Click here to view the program and presentations in Hungarian Berlin Airshow ILA 2006 - May 16-21 2006 The International Aerospace Exhibition ILA2006 was held from 16 to 21 May in Berlin. Over 850 exhibitors from 42 countries were present at the southern section of Berlin-Schonefeld Airport to display their latest aircraft and a wide range of products, systems and processes representing every area of this high tech industry. The Hungarian aircraft industry was represented by Corvus-Corone two-seater full composite single engine aircraft designed and manufactured by Corvus Aircraft Kft at Balloszög near Kecskemet. The yellow painted aircraft attracted again the attention of the aviation community. At the Airshow led by ITD Hungary and HAIF six Hungarian companies offered their products and services. The newly established Hungarian Aerospace Cluster (HAC) was represented by Composite One Ltd, Dendrit Ltd, econEngineering Ltd and Borsodi Mûhely Ltd. HAC was introduced to the international aerospace community for the first time by Mr. Mihaly Hideg HAIF Chairman on two separate events, organized by the Aerospace and Defence Association of Europe (ASD) and by the International Supplier Center (ISC). Click here to view HAIF presentation on ASD event Click here to view HAIF presentation on ISC event European Aerospace Clusters Network - September 28-29 Rzeszow Poland On 28th of September, 2006 in Rzeszow, Aviation Valley Association organized a conference of aerospace clusters from the European Union - ‘European Aerospace Clusters Network’. The foremost objective of the meeting was to gather an extensive representation of leading aerospace clusters from the European Union in order to share good practices and exchange experiences in the process of a cluster developing. Click here to view presentations FP7 Aeronautical Research Workshop-28 November 2006 Budapest A two-day FP7 Aeronautical Research Workshop was held in Budapest on 27th-28th of November with the participation of Airbus, Thales, Snecma and Alenia Aeronautica.
