Quality Workshop - Budapest
In April 2004 just 2 days before our EU accession HAIF organized a Quality Workshop with the participation of Mr.Brian Morris the EU Aerospace and Defence representative. The workshop held the title of:

Open AeroSME meeting - Berlin
On May the 13th just two weeks after EU accession HAIF chairman was invited to the Berlin Air show for the Open AeroSME mtg organized by AECMA/ASD to give a presentation about the Hungarian Aerospace Industry with a title:

Hungary on Board event - Hamburg
On 28/29th of September a two day event was organized by ITD Hungary and Hanse-Aerospace Association in Hamburg with a title: Hungary on Board. Several companies and institutions were presented from Hungary including the Hungarian Ambassador to Germany.
During the first day events HAIF chairman held a presentation with a title:

During the second day HAIF representatives met Hanse-Aerospace companies to discuss the business opportunities between German and Hungarian companies in the aerospace sector.

AEROMART 2004 Expo - Toulouse
On the 1/2nd of December ITD Hungary and HAIF participated in the AEROMART 2004 Expo in Toulouse, at the biggest European aerospace event for suppliers.
During the two day event HAIF chairman met Airbus, Boeing and Rolls-Royce representatives to discuss their requirements towards suppliers and had discussions with a dozen different aerospace companies seeking low-cost suppliers in the EEC region.
On the second day Mr. Hideg held a presentation about the Hungarian Aerospace Industry structure and the Hungarian investment environment to encourage western aerospace companies to invest in Hungary.

Hungarian Aerospace Suppliers Initiative Workshop - Budapest
Based on the AEROMART 2004 meetings, HAIF launched the Hungarian Aerospace Suppliers Initiative (HASI) programme on December the 21st, mainly for automotive component manufacturers to help them to diversify into aerospace sector. During the workshop HAIF representatives Mr. Hideg and Mr. Pekk held presentations about the opportunities and quality requirements for SMEs in the aerospace sector.
